Thursday, March 30, 2017 - 7:00pm

This lecture series focuses on social and environmental concerns with global impact and explores Catholic Social Teachings and how they pertain to current events. This year the guest speaker, Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas of the Diocese of Tucson, will address the immigration issues that have been trending topics in the media. As the bishop of a border diocese, Bishop Kicanas has a unique perspective on the plight of immigrants who risk all to seek a better life only to live in the shadow of fear. The event is free and open to the public.
