Margaret Mary Wagner, CDP

Sister Margaret Mary Wagner, formerly Sister Philip Neri, entered religious life from St. Mary’s Church in Pine Creek, Pa. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Duquesne University and a master’s degree in education from Margrove College. She was a teacher for more than 46 years, including throughout the greater Pittsburgh region, Michigan, West Virginia, and Virginia.

She was a pastoral minister at St. Luke Church in Erie, Pa. (1996–00) and a chaplain at Harmarville–Health South in Pittsburgh, Pa. (2001-11). Since 2011, she has been caring for a family member.

Anne Winschel, CDP

Sister Anne Winschel has been a spiritual director for more than 30 years. Formerly Sister Carolyn, she entered religious life from St. Mary’s Church in Pine Creek, Pa. She credits her parents’ faith, St. Mary’s church and school, and her aunt (her father’s sister), Sister Alacoque, as greatly influencing her vocation. Her sister, Sister Carolyn Winschel, formerly Sister Jean Francis, is also a Sister of Divine Providence.

Marietta Ruhe, CDP +

Sister Marietta Ruhe entered religious life from St. Joseph Church in Duquesne, Pa. Her sister Jeanine is also a Sister of Divine Providence.
