Sister Patricia Ann Rodemann, formerly Sister Louis Marie, entered religious life from her home parish of St. Stanislaus in Wardsville, Mo. Her parents’ and family members’ deep faith taught her the importance of her religion. (Pictured here with Sister Patricia Ann is her brother, Louis.) She also credits her “wonderful teachers,” the Sisters of Divine Providence, who expressed their love for God in the way they lived their lives.
From 1986 to 2007, Sister Patricia Ann ministered in the St. Louis business office of the Community, and she served as bookkeeper and parish minister at Ascension–St. Paul Parish in Normandy, Mo., until it closed. She also taught school in Missouri and Illinois.
As a Sister of Divine Providence, Sister Patricia Ann feels called to discover God’s Providence in her life and others. She has a genuine concern for those in need, those suffering spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Her service has made her more aware of God’s presence in each person she meets. At present, she is administrative assistant at Providence Center and is the St. Louis area coordinator.
