Today, September 19, 2018, sitting in the same chair and at the same time of September 19, 2017, an unforgettable day for every person living on the island of Puerto Rico, the day we prepared ourselves in the way we could to receive a visitor who we did not invite, a visitor who would leave footprints in each of our hearts, in each mind, in each human being, and in each family.
It was a night of tears, grief, anger, determination and even hope as about 150 people gathered for a listening session for those wanting to express their anguish over revelations of sexual abuse by Catholic priests.
