Going the extra mile: Marlene McClain

As winter reaches the northern part of the country, Pennsylvania native Marlene McClain, 78, makes her way to the Rio Grande Valley. It’s her fourth year in a row heading south. Earlier this month, McClain, made her way south to volunteer at La Posada Providencia. There, she has become an important staple to the shelter, helping out in any way she can.
