Sisters Participate in Christmas Cards for Troops

Sisters of Divine Providence in prayer ministry helped make the Christmas season a little brighter for our overseas service members by participating in Military Connections' Holiday Cards Project. The Sisters recently enjoyed an afternoon crafting Christmas cards and writing greetings for our military men and women who won't be home for the holidays. The project was a wonderful opportunity for the Sisters to demonstrate their love and support of these troops. Military Connections—founded in Pittsburgh in 2003—is a nonprofit organization that supports military personnel year round by shipping care packages, supplies and equipment overseas.
