Sister Kathleen Angel, formerly Sister Doreen, entered religious life from St. Basil Parish in Carrick, Pa. She credits her ninth-grade CCD teacher, Sister Mary Glenn, a Sister of Divine Providence, with influencing her decision to become a Sister.

Sister Hilary Hooks entered the Sisters of Divine Providence in 1961.

Sister Mary Jane Beatty entered religious life from St. Alphonsus parish in Wheeling, W.Va. It was her seventh-grade teacher, Sister Francine Barsh, whose example of joy and kindness helped her realize that becoming a Sister was what she wanted to do with her life.
