Sisters in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic Are Safe

Our Sisters in Puerto Rico and in the Dominican Republic are all safe! They have shown tremendous courage, initiative, and resiliency throughout the ordeal of hurricane Irma and the devastating, hurricane Maria. As news reports indicate, Puerto Rico has endured tremendous damage. We are overwhelmingly grateful to our Provident God who was, and is, with them and all of us. We have assured the Sisters, that in the days to come, we will do all we can to make sure that they will have all they need to continue their community life and ministries on the Island.  We have had numerous offers of support from those who want to know what they can do to help. As the Sisters of Puerto Rico assess their needs, we will join with them in mobilizing our resources to respond. We are grateful for all of the concern and ask that you continue to pray for all of those in the Caribbean who are facing a very long and difficult recovery.
