Healing through music

Kingston - One recent afternoon, Sister Rosemonde Deck went to her office at the convent of the Sisters of Divine Providence, sat down at her upright piano and spent three hours composing.

"I just finished my 400th piano composition," she said, after many hours over many weeks. "I was so excited, more excited than any other song I wrote. I call it 'The Strength of Love' and it just thrilled me."

This is how she spends many days now.
