  • Sr. Betty Sundry and Sr. Melanie Kambic.

Sr. Betty Sundry, CDP, Director of Social Concerns for the Sisters of Divine Providence, coordinates a yearly food drive during Catholic Sisters Week. Nonperishable foods—especially cereal, peanut butter, jelly, pasta, rice and crackers—as well as toilet paper, paper towels and tissues, are collected and donated to Pittsburgh’s North Hills Community Outreach and Providence Food Pantry at La Roche University. Food donations from the public are greatly appreciated and can be placed in the barrels located at the main entrance of Providence Heights—located at 9000 Babcock Boulevard in Allison Park, Pennsylvania—from March 8-14, 2021. To make a monetary donation, visit cdpsisters.org/donate and include "Food Drive" in the "Designation" field.
